Alexandre Laugier: From Epic to Jazz, The Composer of Worlds
A pianist-singer who gives melody a breath of adventure, inspired by fantasy and the great sagas.

A COMPOSER BORN OF FANTASY AND JAZZ
Alexandre Laugier, 26, is a builder of worlds before he is a musician. Raised in Vernon in the wake of jazz (trumpet, then piano from the age of 5), he quickly integrated musical learning with his consuming passion for fantasy and epic tales. His childhood was lulled by literary sagas (The Emerald Knights, The Emerald World) and seminal video games (Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft), where he discovered the emotional force of extended universes and the power of storytelling. These influences - from the magical architecture of Tolkien to the dark mythologies of Lovecraft, not forgetting The Witcher and League of Legends - have given him a keen sense of atmosphere and an obsession with the melody that tells the story. A stage musician from his teens, he explored jazz arrangements and honed his language at the Cours Florent (acting, singing, dance), forging his current artistic identity: a voice, a piano, and a stage presence at the service of a story.

"WHAT A DREAM IT IS ": THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS A PERSONAL MUSICAL WORLD
The year 2024 marked the professional launch ofAlexandre Laugier's first solo album, " What a Dream it is ", due in January 2026. Entirely written, composed and arranged by himself, this project is an emotional journey that reconciles his two great passions. It borrows the timeless elegance of the vocal jazz masters (Sinatra, Chet Baker, Michael Bublé, Peter Cincotti) while injecting a pop aesthetic and sensibility reminiscent of the harmonic richness of the great soundtracks. This album is the first door he opens, inviting listeners to plunge into their dreams and experience the tension, elevation and breath of adventure that music is the most direct way for him to convey.
