    "body": "<h4 id=\"a-composer-born-of-fantasy-and-jazz\" ><strong>A COMPOSER BORN OF FANTASY AND JAZZ</strong></h4><p><strong>Alexandre Laugier</strong>, 26, is a builder of worlds before he is a musician. Raised in Vernon in the wake of jazz (trumpet, then piano from the age of 5), he quickly integrated musical learning with his consuming passion for <strong>fantasy</strong> and <strong>epic tales</strong>. \u200b His childhood was lulled by literary sagas (The Emerald Knights, The Emerald World) and \u200b seminal <strong>video games</strong> (Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft), where he discovered the <strong>emotional force of</strong> extended universes and the power of storytelling. These influences - from the magical architecture of Tolkien to the dark mythologies of Lovecraft, not forgetting The Witcher and League of Legends - have given him a keen sense of atmosphere and an obsession with the melody that tells the story. Entirely written, composed and arranged by himself, this project is an <strong>emotional journey</strong> that reconciles his two great passions. It borrows the timeless elegance of the <strong>vocal jazz</strong> masters \u200b (Sinatra, Chet Baker, Michael Bubl&eacute;, Peter Cincotti) while injecting a <strong>pop aesthetic</strong> and sensibility reminiscent of the harmonic richness of the great <em>soundtracks</em>.
